The first of a series of events to take place in the UK, in June last year, is to help men have their first “female Viagra”, a drug which has been used to treat an underactive sex drive in women for more than half a century.
The drug, called Addyi, was originally developed by Sprout Pharmaceuticals as an “anti-impotence drug”. It was developed to help men with erectile dysfunction use the drug regularly, but it didn’t have the same effect in women as it did in men.
Addyi is marketed as an “anti-impotence drug” to treat low sex drive and is being sold at a much lower cost. However, Dr Peter Howell, director of sexual medicine at the University of Bristol, told the BBC he is unaware of any studies which showed an association between Viagra and erectile dysfunction.
“I do know that there are reports of women having a sexual problem which is very concerning to them,” said Howell. “I’m not going to comment further, but it is quite unusual to be seen as having a sexual problem in a woman.”
The drug works in a similar way to the “impotence drug”, a drug which is often used in men to help them achieve an erection. The drug contains Viagra and is used to treat erectile dysfunction, a condition in which a man has difficulty obtaining or keeping an erection when sexually aroused.
The drug, called sildenafil, has been sold over the counter for more than a decade, with sales reaching £1.7m for the drug in 2017.
But Viagra, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis, is not as effective in women.
The drug was first developed to treat erectile dysfunction in men in the 1950s. It was developed to improve the sensitivity of the penis to light and to prevent premature ejaculation.
Sildenafil works by blocking the effects of a chemical called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). The PDE5 enzyme in the body is responsible for breaking down chemicals called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which relaxes smooth muscles in the penis and increases blood flow to the organ. By blocking PDE5, sildenafil reduces cGMP levels, thereby increasing the hardness and diameter of the erection.
The drug works by inhibiting the action of PDE5 enzymes, increasing the amount of cGMP produced, which is necessary for a man’s ability to have sex.
The drug, which is sold in generic form and on the NHS as a Viagra or Cialis, has been clinically proven to help reduce erectile dysfunction in men by around 50%. However, it is estimated that it may have some side effects, particularly among older men.
The drug is available only with a prescription.
The most common side effects of the drug in women are headaches and dizziness.
In the UK, Viagra is also available on prescription, with a prescription of £10.99. The drug has also been associated with a higher rate of erectile dysfunction in women, with some reporting it as “a little bit embarrassing.”
The drugs are also used to treat conditions such as erectile dysfunction in men who have problems getting or keeping an erection. These include impotence in men, which is a condition in which a man’s erection is difficult or impossible to maintain.
For this reason, Dr Howell said, the drug is only approved for women. The drug is not meant for use by men who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the drug was developed for this purpose.

There have been concerns about the safety of Viagra in the last few years, including one from a young man with Parkinson’s. The man told Health and Wellness Australia to stop taking Viagra and to be careful in case any side effects from the drug, such as nausea and headaches, persist.
In an interview with Health and Wellness Australia, the man said he had to have a prescription for Viagra in Australia because it was being sold in a “pink packaging”. He was also told to stop taking it, because it would be dangerous to have the drug on the shelves of a pharmacy.

The man said he was told to do well in the morning, and when he woke up at night, his brain seemed to get a bit disoriented.
“It’s a bit like you might be sitting there,” the man said.
“I would wake up like this at night with uncontrollable thoughts of harming myself,” he added.
The man said he would be careful in the morning, and he had to see his GP as soon as he got back to work, but he had to have the prescription for Viagra, because he had to take it to see his GP. “It’s a big worry to me,” he said. “The risk is higher,” he added.
The man said the pills, which are similar to the Viagra, were being sold in a “pink packaging”, and had to be taken under the tongue. He said he would be able to take the pills at home, and it would be dangerous to have them on the shelves.
“There’s no way I could take them if I was on a course of Viagra,” he said.
